Information we process
Depending on how you use the service, this may include account details (such as name and email address), commitments and schedules, completion history, accountability partner contact information and invitation/consent status, device notification tokens, subscription status, and technical diagnostic information.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, display commitments and progress, schedule reminders, invite accountability partners, send requested notifications about commitments, provide support, and maintain service reliability.
Accountability partners
If you invite a partner, we may use the contact information you provide to send an invitation and, if they accept, commitment-related notifications according to the app's settings. Partners do not need an app account to receive invitations or notices.
Service providers
We use service providers to support the app, including Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and notifications, and Resend for email delivery. Additional services, such as SMS or advertising providers, may be introduced later; this policy must be updated before those features are enabled.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational or legal purposes. To request deletion, see our Account Deletion page. We may need to verify account ownership before processing a request.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Commitment Ally is not designed for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
